We do a lot of online lead generation to run our business. I thought it was worth sharing the performance or lack there of for one of the companies we recently used to generate leads. If you come across a company named Data Champs run the other way. Not only are their leads one of the worst quality I have seen they are unprofessional to work with in trying to resolve the issues we experienced.
If you use online lead generation in your business I would be happy to point you towards legitimate providers if you are interested.
The best way to generate leads is to optimize your site, provide great content, services and to make great offers. The leads will follow. If you go off line lead generation I recommend direct marketing. If done correctly you won't be sorry.
They can serve a purpose if they are good leads but I won't pay for them. I would be happy to offer them a referral upon the successful closing of a real estate transaction.
I am sure there are quality companies as there are ones out there that will just take your money
I agree that if you only pay for the leads that close then you are probably safe. Just keep in mind that you still need to monitor the leads coming in since tons of bad leads can take up a lot of time and cause other problems.
